Automatic Helilink
For safe, independent relocation and retrieval of the Wyssen deployment boxes LS12 and LS24.
The pilot can engage the helilink independently on the deployment box, analogous to the procedure with the existing (mechanical) helilink. With the automatic RCH-23 Helilik, the pilot can open and disengage the link independently, provided that the link is completely released. The open position is indicated to the pilot by means of a red LED cluster on the link.
Advantages
- Deployment boxes can be mounted on the tower and retrieved using the same handle.
- Safe transport of the deployment boxes by helicopter thanks to perfectly matched components
- easy repositioning of incorrectly placed deployment boxes
- No persons in the danger zone around the deployment box
- No current-carrying longline
- Conventional longline can be used in various lengths
- Foldable for easier transportation by helicopter
- Good stability in flight
