The Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V. (KWF) is a research institution that has been operating for 60 years in the legal form of a registered association with recognized non-profit status. Around 2500 personalities from forestry, forestry science, administration and industry are members of the KWF. The KWF is a practice-oriented research institution that pursues the goal of contributing to the long-term sustainability of forestry through applied research and knowledge transfer.
